CLIMAMED 2020

The 10th Mediterranean Countries HVAC Congress CLIMAMED 2020 will be held virtually between 23-24 March 2021.
The CLIMAMED congress was included among the REHVA congresses (CLIMA, CLIMA-Med and Cold Climate), which take place in three-year cycles. The congress is under the responsibility of the REHVA member HVAC associations of the following five Southern European countries:
- AICARR (Associazione Italiana di condizionamento dell'Aria, Riscaldemento e Refrigerazione), Italy;
- AICVF (Association des Ingénieurs en Climatique, Ventilation et Froid), France;
- ATECYR (Asociación Técnica Española de Climatizacióny Refrigeración), Spain;
- OE (Ordem dos Engenheiros), Portugal;
- TTMD (Turkish Installation Engineers Association), Turkey.
Climamed 2020, which will be hosted by OE (Ordem dos Engenheiros) from Portugal, aims to contribute significantly to the solution of the problems faced by humanity as a result of climate change with the theme "Towards Mediterranean Cities and Buildings Balanced with Climate". In this context, within the framework of flexibility and adaptation requirements, the following topics were determined by targeting the studies that develop solutions for ensuring the welfare of the users inside the building:

  • Sustainable Energy use in Buildings and Energy Efficiency
  • Renewable Energy Applications
  • Building Management, Maintenance and Commissioning
  • Indoor Environmental Quality
  • Ventilation Systems
  • Standardization & Regulations
  • Advances in Systems and HVAC Equipment
  • Modeling, Simulation and Integrated Design (Modeling, Simulations and Integrated Design)
  • Nearly Zero Energy Buildings and Districts
  • Building Improvements (Buildings Retrofitting)
  • Internet of Things and Buildings Monitoring Solutions
  • User Behavior (Occupants' Behavior)
As a platform that attaches importance to the sharing of new information about the Mediterranean basin, apart from the determined topics, CLIMAMED 2020 will be pleased to include all your papers including innovative studies on this subject.
We invite you to participate in CLIMAMED 2020.
